A train trip to Chicago

Matthew asked for us to take a train trip and eat on the train. He also requested that we go to a planetarium. Susan decided that we should combine the two together into one amazing day trip. Last Friday we got on the train mid morning and went up to Chicago,

 

 

took a quick car ride to the planetarium.

 

 

We spent most of the day there, then took a car ride back to the train station.  Bus sadly we cut the transition a little tight and as Susan ran on ahead to try and make sure that the train didn't take off without us a few of the kids got worried (very worried) that Susan was going to leave us. We all made the train and it ended up being a great ride. Even if the train ride home ended up being a bit silly.

Music this week

 This week we had a number of different music performances.  Matthew and James did a piano recital and Alex sang at our churches Christmas party.  The videos are not great, but it does give you an idea of what it is like. Sadly I didn't start at the very beginning for Alex.
