Alex and his friend K decided to go to the Homecoming dance this year. It was a little out of character for both of them, but they're kinda "out of character" folks, so it fit pretty well in a roundabout way. Alex wanted to wear a sparkly dress, high heels, and make-up. K would typically wear a dress to things like this, but wore a suit instead.
Erin took Alex dress shopping and helped him find a hair color that would match. His friend S did his make-up. Alex was happy with the end product, even if he felt totally awkward posing for pictures.
When the night was over, he decided that the dance wasn't worth the ticket price, but spending all that time with his friends was AWESOME. Will he do it again?
"Not in high heels!" he proclaims.
