On Second Thought

We, as a family, were admiring yet another cute thing that Matthew was doing for the first time (driving a little ride-on toy, crashing into things and making big sound effects with his voice) and it occurred to me that we might not get to do that forever. Matthew might decide that he doesn't want to be cute, or adored, or loved as the baby forever. He might want to grow up. To catch up.

*gasp*

Then what are the rest of us going to bond over?!
