Cold Frame in situ

Here it is! My delightful cold frame in its natural habitat! It looked a lot better when Denise assembled it at her house, but it wouldn't fit in my car without some disassembly. My handiwork (and confidence with power tools, and experience with larger-frame construction) is lacking, but apparently sufficient. The lids are composed of 2x2's with a layer of sheet plastic affixed on top and bottom (thus "double-paned"). They are hinged to the back with door hinges and extra hinges have been constructed into the main frame for easy storage during the regular growing season. The back is 16 inches tall and the front is 12 inches tall. Alice approves.
