Memorial Day Walk

We borrowed a friend's dog for a Memorial Day walk at Crystal Lake Park. The kids are in LOVE with little Ruby.

Some parts of the walk were less fun than others, but we got through it:

Having Ruby along kept the walk fun all 1.5 miles. Matthew still got too tired to go any further at 1.3 miles (that's his usual walk limit) but the other kids' spirits remained high until the end. She's a sweet dog! Now the kids are asking to borrow her every day.
