Whew. I'm not so depressed anymore.
Penny is settling into the single life, though I hope that will change in the next couple of days. I've got 3 black australorps coming, exactly her age. Each of them on the cusp of laying. May the new flock blend work well for all of us.

Yay!! I was hoping you had found the solution! Glad she will have company now too. And her retiring personality should be okay with new friends.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about Edith now too, but I am glad Penny survived the fox. Do you think the three new hens will attack Penny when they come in or since she was there first is she likely to be safe?
